Greta Thunberg teen climate activist is in the headlines right after she tweeted in favor of farmers’ protest. But do you know there is something that makes her feel that she has a superpower? So if you are unaware, here’s what you need to know.

    Greta Thumberg super powers

Greta Thunberg fetched a lot of attention after her tweets regarding the ongoing farmers’ protest. This name was not known to many people before, but soon after she made tweets supporting farmers’ protest, she came into the limelight. But the way she came up for farmers’ support, gave a big question mark to everyone. However, there were some who supported her, while others, raised questions about her. It was on 2nd February when Greta tweeted “We stand in solidarity with the #FarmersProtest in India,” And following her, other celebs like Rihana, Mia Khalifa, also showed their support.

But apart from this, there is something that we are sharing with you about her. Let us inform you that in 2019 she gave a speech on climate change at United Nations General Assembly. But due to her speech, she faced a lot of criticism and mockery. And do you know what is the reason behind this? Well, the reason is that this 18-year-old teen activist is suffering from Asperger’s, which is high-functioning autism, and also became a role model for those suffering from this disease. But on other hand, some social media outlets called her “mentally ill”. Now before we proceed further let us tell you something about Asperger.

    Here’s something about Asperger’s Syndrome?

Those who suffer from this disease have difficulty in communication and Interaction. On a broader category, it is also called autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Now another thing is that those who suffer from this disease also lack eye contact. And there are also some abnormalities when they interact with someone.

Greta suffers from this disease, but the activist calls it a superpower. As she herself opened about this in 2019 on her social media account saying that “I have Asperger’s and that means I’m sometimes a bit different from the norm. And – given the right circumstances –being different is a superpower,”. Considering it as a gift from God she further stated  “It also makes me see things from outside the box. I don’t easily fall for lies, I can see through things.”
