Zoya Akhtar’s upcoming film Gully Boy’s trailer has already released. The film stars actors Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt. From the trailer, apparently, it seems that the plot of the film revolves around a boy who rises to fame from the streets. The film has released its first song which is a full-blown rap. The rap song “Apna Time Aayega” is the tag line of the film. It is performed by the actor Ranveer Singh himself.
The lyrics of the song are really powerful yet hard-hitting and speaks of a better tomorrow. Earlier we heard rap songs mainly collaborated with English songs but this is made up of Hindi words with a twist of
Mumbaiya lingo. However, the video of the song is not made that attractive but the words are really exuberant and it somehow made justice.
The song was also shared by Ranveer on his Twitter handle with a post that read, “#ApnaTimeAayega OUT NOW !”
To let you know, Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt starrer Gully Boy has been directed by Zoya Akhtar and produced by Excel Entertainment. The film also stars Vijay Raaz and Kalki Koechlin. It is scheduled to release on Valentines Day i.e February 14, 2019.
