Hardik Pandya And KL Rahul Suspended From The Australian ODI Series For Their Disrespectful Remarks on Women

Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya is grabbing all the limelight but for all wrong reasons. He is facing a social media flak for his actions on the latest episode of Koffee With Karan 6. He was invited with his teammate KL Rahul by the host Karan Johar on the popular chat show.

He made some filthy comments about women and his sexual activities and now has been getting criticized for his comments. His comments were considered ‘misogynist’, ‘sexist’, and ‘racist’. He soon realized his mistake and apologized for his actions. But it seems BCCI is in no mood to forgive the cricketer for now atleast.

According to reports, Hardik and Rahul have been suspended and sent back home from the Australian One Day Internationals (ODI) series. The decision came after Rai’s CoA colleague, Diana Edulji, recommended suspension till further action against the two.

A statement on the BCCI’s official website read:

“The CoA (Committee of Administrators) in accordance with the BCCI has decided to suspend Hardik Pandya and KL Rahul from playing any form of cricket after their comments on a TV show. The duo will now return to India and an inquiry and proceedings will be made against them for misconduct and indiscipline that have been initiated under Rule 41 of the BCCI constitution.”

Hardik Pandya after his misogynist comments on women has been facing a severe backlash among the fans for his comments. He boasted about his multiple affairs with women and how he is extremely open about it with his parents. The episode has now been taken down the broadcasters after several complaints by the users.
