Earlier, we came to know about how Kapil Sharma during one of his show The Kapil Sharma Show’s episode apologized to Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He apologized for his controversial tweet that he made in the year 2016 where he targeted Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Yes, in the year 2016, Kapil had sent an angry message about bribery to Narendra Modi.
Now after two years, in the recent episode of The Kapil Sharma show, while the starcast of Ek Ladki Ko Dekha To Aisa Laga was present including Sonam Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao, Anil Kapoor and Juhi Chawla, Kapil apologized to Narendra Modi for the controversial tweet he made.
Now, according to the reports, Kapil’s apology in the show was planned by the makers. It all because now Kapil doesn’t want to hold grudges with Indian PM and what could be better than apologizing on the national television? That’s why after Rajkummar joined the show TKSS in the mid as he was in Delhi to meet PM Narendra Modi along with other young Bollywood actors like Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Bhumi Pednekar etc, Kapil began to ask him about his meeting with the PM and candidly asked if Modi had asked about him in his chat with Rajkummar. To which he replied, the Indian PM is upset with the comedian, making a reference to the 2016 tweet.
This made Kapil embarrassed about the incident and he took no time to apologise to the Indian Prime Minister.
