Warner Bros. and DC Films are fully committed to the DC Extended Universe. The Suicide Squad, The Batman, The Flash and Aquaman 2 will be released in the coming two years . And in the summer of 2023, Shazam: Fury of the Gods is set to debut.
In the sequel to the well-received superhero family comedy Shazam! from 2019 a lot of familiar faces return, but of course new figures are also emerging. One of them is played by actress Lucy Liu , known from Kill Bill: Volume 1 and the Elementary series , among others .

According to The Wrap, Liu plays the villain Kalypso in Shazam: Fury of the Gods by director David F. Sandberg , Atlas’s second daughter and Hespera’s sister, played by Helen Mirren.
Of course, the lead role is again for Asher Angel / Zachary Levi and the entire Shazam family is also present. Shazam: Fury of the Gods is scheduled for June 2023. Below is the teaser trailer for part one.
