Amidst the ingoing rumors about Kriti Sanon being in relationship with co-actor Prabhas, the former has break the silence and decided to address the rumors through a social media post. On Tuesday, the Kriti posted a statement on Instagram which read, “It’s neither pyaar (love), nor PR.. our Bhediya just went a little too wild on a reality show. And his fun banter lead to some Howl-arious rumours (woman facepalming emoji).”
Kriti further added, “Before some portal announces my wedding date-let me burst your bubble. The rumours are ABSOLUTELY baseless! (folded hands and shrug emoji).” She also included a ‘fake news’ sticker.
This statement was follwed by a remark by Bhediya actor Varun Dhawan who indirectly hinted at the rumored relationship of the duo during the film promotions on the dance reality television show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa.
Filmmaker Karan Johar, who is also happen to be the judge of the show asked Varun to give few names of eligible and prospective single women in the Hindi film industry. However, the actor did not mention the name of Kriti on the list.
Varunsaid, “Kriti ka naam isiliye nahi tha kyunki Kriti ka naam kisi ke dil me hai. Ek aadmi hai jo Mumbai me nahi hai, vo iss waqt shooting kar raha hai Deepika (Padukone) ke saath. (Kriti’s name is not here because her name is in someone’s heart. That man is not in Mumbai because right now he is shooting with Deepika).”
Prabhas is now shooting with Deepika on Project K, starring Amitabh Bachchan. Earlier, Kriti and Prabhas were seen together during the film promotions of Adipurush which is slated to release on June 16, 2023.
Kriti was seen alongside Varun in Bhediya, which is a Amar Kaushik directorial. The movie hit the theaters on November 25 featuring Abhishek Banerjee, Deepak Dobriyal, and Paalin Kabak.
