The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle recently visited Bristol where they toured the Old Vic theatre and a boxing charity gym. Meanwhile, the tour, the heavily pregnant Meghan Markle came up with a very kind idea to distribute food parcels that were being prepared in the charity kitchen.
While she was in the charity’s kitchen helping prepare food parcels for the women, Meghan asked if they had a marker pen. Then Meghan penned down very sweet, lovable and encouraging messages on bananas. Meghan’s inspiration behind writing these empowering messages on bananas is an American woman who wrote empowering messages on schoolchildren’s bananas.
However, now, one of the sex workers called these messages written on bananas. Nikki, a sex worker called this move “really stupid”. She said, “People out here struggle to eat and sleep and she gifts us some words on a piece of fruit. She has the means to help us more than that. It’s offensive, you know.”
Meghan wrote the notes on Friday during an impromptu stop with Prince Harry at the One25 charity in Bristol. By this, all we have to say that, you just can’t make everyone happy. Where some people are praising Meghan for her move, some are criticizing her for their side of the story.
