Sushant Singh Rajput was a promising actor. And no wonder with his hard work he came a long way. The big films like MS Dhoni, Detective Byomkesh Bakshi and Kai Po Che is the biggest example of this. However many of you might be unaware that he was almost the part of Big budget films like Bajirao Mastani, Fitoor, Half girlfriend, Romeo Akbar Walter but later dropped it out.
Bajirao Mastani and Ram-Leela
After the death of Shushant Singh Rajput, the investigation was held. And all those who were connected to the actor directly or indirectly were questioned by police officials. One of them was filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali, who stated that he was offered Ram-Leela, and Bajirao Mastani but the actor backed off due to its tight schedule.
Half Girlfriend
Half Girlfriend was the film that was first offered to Shushant Singh Rajput. But unfortunately, he couldn’t be a part of it and the film went to Arjun Kapoor. Who was paired opposite Shraddha Kapoor. Talking about the film once Shushant in an interview told that he was already doing many films and since it was not possible for him to switch he said no to it.” He said I won’t ditch. So be it the biggest film with the biggest studio or the smallest film”
Romeo Akbar Walter
Another film that he dropped was Romeo Akbar Walter. And the reason for this was again his tight schedule. He left the Producers Bunty Walia and director Robbie Grewal shocked when he denied the film. And later the film went to John Abraham. The actor himself said “Unfortunately, I will not be part of Romeo Akbar Walter due to changes in my prior commitments. I wanted to be part of the project because I love the story, and believe it must be told, but, that will not happen,”
Fitoor
The film Fitoor was the Hindi remake Of Great Expectation, and he was supposed to star in the film. However, he was replaced by Aditya Roy Kapur. And the reason is not very clear.
