Sai Pallavi opens up about MeToo movement; ‘ Even verbally abusing a person’

Actor Sai Pallavi, who last appeared in the Tamil film Gargi recently arrived in an exclusive episode of Telugu chat show Nijam with Smita. In the promo the actor spoke about the MeToo movement. She mentioned that verbal abuse is something which should not be taken lightly.

In the promotional clip, she speaks about her venture from a medical student to rising to stardom being an actor in the Tollywood which changed her life for the better including the perks and happiness of being a successful women. She also gave a special mention to her co-actors with whom she had liked to dance with- Jr NTR (Tarak), Bunny (Allu Arjun), or Ram Charan.

When she about the MeToo movement, she averred, “You don’t have to be physically abusive. Even verbally abusing a person and making them uncomfortable is a form of abuse.”

Reportedly, Sai Pallavi has been signed for Pushpa 2, fans are elated to witness her in the sequel, the role is expected to be a cameo appearance. Someone wrote, “If true, this is going to be really exciting. It’ll be even more interesting if she gets to play a negative character (sic).” Another added, “One dance number with Allu Arjun and Sai Pallavi please (sic).”
