The first look of Bollywood actress Taapsee Pannu’s upcoming film ‘Thappad’ has been released. Taapsee has released the first poster of the film on her social media account Twitter and Instagram.
Directed by Anubhav Sinha his next film Thappad is all set to make waves. The makers released the first look poster of the movie today. The movie also stars Pavail Gulati, Tanvi Azmi, Ratna Pathak Shah, and Dia Mirza.in lead roles. Earlier Tapsee revealed that she is playing the role of a middle-class girl named Amrita. Although the actress is quite bold in real life still it was the toughest role for her she said.
Sharing the poster on her Twitter page, Taapsee wrote, “Kya yeh bas itni si baat hai? Kya pyaar mein ye bhi jayaz hai? Yeh #Thappad Ki pehli Jhalak hai.” It has also been informed in the poster that the trailer of the film will be released tomorrow i.e. January 31. The film will be released on February 28. This is the second time the talented actress is working with Anubhav Sinha. She has previously worked with him in ‘Mulk’.
After reuniting with the director, Tapsee said. “Working with Anubhav sir is always an enriching experience and he encourages one to push the envelope. When he discussed Thappad, I immediately decided this was a film I had to do. It has a thought-provoking storyline and deals with a subject that must be addressed in our society.”
