Television actress and Bigg Boss OTT fame Urfi Javed is frequently in headlines due to her out of the ordinary fashion and dressing tips and choices. The quirky fashion carried forward by the actor have been the talked of the town making her one of the most popular social media influencer.
Recently, author Chetan Bhagat mentioned a stark remark about the actor in a literary event. The author said, “Humara youth hai jo bistaron mein ghus ke Urfi Javed ki photos dekh rha hai…”
The actress posted her reply on the Instagram stories on Saturday which was also interestingly criticized by the netizens too. Urfi sternly shared a series of leaked WhatsApp chats which were earlier floated during the time when the author was accused of the #MeToo and have slammed the Chetan.
Urfi wrote, “Men like him will always blame the women than accepting their own shortcomings!! Just because you’re a pervert doesn’t means it’s the girls fault or what she is wearing (sic)!”
“Unnecessarily dragging me in a conversation, commenting on how my clothes are distracting young boys is such a f**ked thing to say!! You msging young girls isn’t a distraction for them tho (sic)?” she added.
“Stop promoting rape culture you sickos out there! Blaming a woman’s clothes for the behaviour of men is so 80’s mr @chetanbhagat. Who was distracting you when you msged girls half of your age? Always blame the opposite gender, never accept your own shortcomings or faults! People like you are misguiding the youth not me. Encouraging men to put the blame on the women or her clothing when they are at fault,” she concludes.
Later when the actress was spotted in a shimmy sheer top in Mumbai she was asked by the paparazzi about the controversy, to which she averred that the need to mention her during a literary event is not understadable.
