Yanina Gavankar ( Out of the Game ) joined the cast of the film adaptation of Borderlands . Fans of the original source should not try on the actress on some famous character in the game – for Ioannina they specially came up with a unique heroine – Commander Knox.
But there is nothing surprising in this; Recently producer of the film adaptation and founder of development studio Gearbox Entertainment Company Randy Pitchford openly admitted that the movie based on the motives will work by its own rules, while maintaining the spirit and atmosphere of the game.
The film directed by Eli Roth tells how a mysterious lady with a criminal past named Lilith flies to her home planet Pandora to find the missing daughter of the most dangerous son of a bitch in the galaxy. She recruits a team of mercenaries and goes in search of adventure.
The main roles will be played by Cate Blanchett, Edgar Ramirez, Jack Black, Kevin Hart, Florian Munteanu, Jamie Lee Curtis, Ariana Greenblatt, Haley Bennett.
