Imtiaz Khan Died At The Age Of 77: Actor Imtiaz Khan, who has worked in films like Yaadon Ki Baaraat, Dharmatma, Chor-Police, and Bunty-Babli, died on Monday evening due to a heart attack. He was 77 years old. Imtiaz Khan was the brother of Amjad Khan, who played the role of ‘Gabbar‘ in the film Sholay.
Although Imtiaz Khan did not get as much fame as Amjad, many of his films left a different impression in the hearts of people. The 1973 film ‘Yaadon Ki Baaraat’ was one of those films. In this film, Imtiaz left a different impression of his acting. He made the character of ‘Rupesh‘ come alive with his acting.
Married to a 25-year-old actress
Imtiaz Khan married Kritika Desai, a leading actor in TV serials and the Gujarati stage at that time. Kritika was 25 years younger than Imtiaz. In an interview, Kritika had said that her and Imtiaz’s eating and drinking habits were also completely different. Imtiaz was a non-vegetarian, then Kritika pure vegetarian, but neither food nor religion ever came between the two. According to a report by ABP News, they both have a daughter named Ayesha Khan.
