A horror film titled Tumbbad that was released in 2018 suddenly started tending. After it started making rounds the users are giving reactions to this.
Soham Shah’s film Tumbbad is considered a masterpiece in the history of horror film. It was released in 2018, but now suddenly it started trending on twitter. Amid of this the questions are raised as to why it was not selected for the official entry for the Oscars. In fact, some people said that there was no major artist or no major production house behind it, so the film was ignored. Otherwise, the film would have strengthened the international identity of the Indian film industry if would have selected for Oscars.
About The Plot of The Film
Tumbbad’ is a fictional story of a village named ‘Tumbbad’ in Maharashtra, set in 1918. Vinayak Rao (Soham Shah) lives with his mother and brother in that city. There is said to be a treasure hidden in the mansion where they stay. But some unusual things happen, due to which his mother takes him to Pune. After 15 years Vinayak again goes to that city and starts searching for the treasure. The film is directed by Rahi Anil Barve.
A few days ago, a tweet was taken from Amazon Prime’s Twitter handle about Tumbbad, in which information was shared about the film. It was told that the film took 6 years to make. Also, the scenes of the film shot in the rain took 4 monsoons so that the scenes look real. Actually the scenes shot in the film is from city Tumbbad that receives rainfall throughout the year. It is being told that the film is available on Amazon prime video now. Sharing the post on his official Twitter account, Amazon wrote, “Tumbbad is very happy to trend at the top.” This movie is worth it.
After the film started trending film’s lead actor Soham Shah expressed happiness over its trend. He wrote, Amazing surprise in the morning. Tumbbad is trending in India. It is great to see that people are still loving our hard work. Another user also tweeted about it saying the movie “I dared to watch”.
