You must have seen both of them, Raveena Tandon and Karisma Kapoor as very good friends in the movie ‘Andaaz Apna Apna’ but in real life, both of them were jealous of each other in the past and even now there never get spotted together. In an interview, choreographer turned director Farah Khan revealed that both of them made fun of each other during the practice of a song in the film Andaz Apna Apna.
Apart from competition, there was another reason also for the hate the two actresses shared. It was none another than the actor Ajay Devgn who buried the seeds of rivalry among the two. It was back in the 90s when he debuted to Bollywood, there was a rumour that he was in a relationship with Raveena Tandon but he dumped her after falling in love with Karisma Kapoor. This break up shattered Raveena Tandon and the rumours were Raveena even attempted a suicide.
After that, Raveena and Ajay were involved in an ugly fight which became public, the actor even said she needs a psychiatrist. Ajay Devgn in an interview said that:
“Letters? Ha! What letters? Tell that girl that she should go ahead and publish those letters, even I want to read the figment of her imagination! …She is just trying to get publicity by linking her name with mine. Her so-called suicide attempt was also a publicity gimmick.”
