Yesterday we got to hear about a shameful act of some people which now triggered outrage in India. According to the information, people in Malappuram district of Kerala had fed a pineapple filled with firecrackers to a pregnant elephant. After which she died due to bursting of crackers in her mouth.

Many people, including the captain of the Indian cricket team, Virat Kohli have expressed their anger and regret over the death of that pregnant elephant in Kerala. He said, we should treat animals with love and such cowardly acts against them should stop.

Ratan Tata, chairman of Tata Sons, also expressed anger over the incident. In a note on Twitter, he wrote that some people fed a pregnant elephant in a pineapple with firecrackers, which led to her death. I am shocked by this. He said, such criminal acts with innocent animals are no different from killing humans. There must be justice.
