Quentin Tarantino turned his film The Hateful Eight into a miniseries, with about twenty minutes of extra footage. He said earlier that he might also want to do this in his latest film, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood . Margot Robbie also likes this.
The actress plays an important role in the film and during a recent interview she spoke about a longer version. There is more than enough material to work with. There would even be a twenty-hour cut of the film!
Question
During the interview, the Oscar-winning actress was asked if, following Zack Snyder’s Justice League , she would also like to see a director’s cut of David Ayer ‘s Suicide Squad . In this she of course plays Harley Quinn. Her response was as follows: ” Personally, I would love to see the five-hour version of all my films .”
” I immediately think of Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. Regarding that movie, we shot a lot of great scenes that unfortunately didn’t make it to the cinema version. These scenes were cut from the movie for a million different reasons … ”.
Ever?
The chance that it will happen seems rather small. If the longer version of Once Upon A Time in Hollywood ever comes out, which Tarantino talked about before, it will last about 4 hours. Then no less than 16 hours are missing. Do you hope this 20-hour version will be released?
