The Kerala Story crew members receives threatening message which said not to step out

The Mumbai Police have provided security at a crew member’s workplace in the suburb of Andheri after he allegedly received a threat via text message on his phone, an official claimed on Tuesday. The crew member is a part of the contentious film The Kerala Story.

The director of the film’s production, Bhanjaya Sahu, on Saturday got a text message from an unidentified number that stated, “Don’t step out alone, You didn’t do good”.

According to the source, Sahu went to the police on Saturday and filed a complaint. He added that the FIR has not yet been filed.

According to the first information, police have set up protection at Sahu’s office, and more investigation is ongoing, he added.

In the meantime, The Kerala Story, which details the hardship of a group of Keralan women who are supposedly compelled to convert and serve ISIS, has sparked a political uproar.
