United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres arrived the war struck Ukraine and is expected to meet the Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in Kyiv on Wednesday. The diplomatic leaders will be carrying forward a discourse on the intend to extend a deal with Moscow.
The deal is related to the permit for Black Sea exports of grains produced in Ukraine amidst Russia’s invasion and war in the country.
“The Secretary-General has just arrived in Poland on his way to Ukraine,” UN spokesman Stephane Dujarric averred on Tuesday, adding further that Guterres will be deliberating on the continuation of the deal “in all its aspects and other pertinent issues.”
Further developments on the meetup is yet to be disclosed, as of now.
