1) Kalki Koechlin

The beautiful actress brought a shockwave when she revealed she was sexually assaulted when she was 9, she made this confession on a news channel. At the age of nine, without understanding fully what it was, she allowed someone to have s*x with her. She always cursed herself for being guilty and kept it hidden for years.

2) Somi Ali

The former Bollywood actress from Pakistan who has been one of the ex-girlfriends of Salman Khan. She revealed how she was sexually assaulted at the age of 5 years. She was molested and faced domestic violence in Pakistan during her childhood. 

3) Sheila Ray

She was a model, struggling Bollywood actress and a socialite. In 1977, Sheila was gang-raped by four men for the whole night and was thrown by them outside her place in the morning. She was a wife of famous actor Sudhir who worked in films like Satte pe Satta and Baadshah and had no photo on the Internet. She died years ago. 

4) Daisy Irani

Veteran actress Daisy Irani who is India’s best-known child star of the 1950s and 60s has recently revealed she was sexually assaulted at the age of 6 while she was filming for Hum Panchhi Ek Dal Ke (1957) at an outdoor location. She was raped by a man who was supposed to be her guardian.

5) Kangana Ranaut

Kangana Ranaut spoke her heart out at the launch of journalist Barkha Dutt’s book, ‘This Unquiet Land’. The actress called the time when she was physically abused and hit by a certain someone from the industry, who she didn’t name, in her early days. According to the reports, it was none other than Aditya Pancholi. She was 17 then.

6) Sofia Hayat

Hayat made her Bollywood debut playing a leading role in the film Diary of a Butterfly, which was released in April 2011. According to the actress, her uncle abused her sexually when she was just 10.

7) Padma Lakshmi

The Bollywood and Hollywood actress Padma told in her book ‘Love, Loss And What We Ate’ how she was sexually abused by her stepfather’s relative when she was 7. 

“One night, I woke up to his hand in my underpants. He took my hand and placed it inside his briefs. I don’t know how many times it happened before since I suspect I slept through some incidents. Once you take a girl’s innocence, you can never get it back. What I remember more is telling my mother what happened and her believing me and then she and I telling someone else that it happened and that person not believing me. And then the next week, I was sent to India. In retrospect, however, he should have been the one to go. Years later, in tears, my mother would acknowledge this grave mistake.”
